In Hosea 8:11the LORD pronounced judgment upon Israel for her hypocritical worship and false devotion to Him. He declared, Since Ephraim has multiplied altars for sin, they have become altars of sinning for him. Hosea 8:1 states; Put the ram’s horn to your lips! An eagle looms over the house of the LORD, because the people have transgressed My covenant and rebelled against My law. This great wave will be destroyed from the winds of the east: Ezekiel 17:7-10
