The Comet In Aquila the Eagle

"Woe, woe, woe"

Prayers for those in Southern California who have lost lives, homes, and businesses. We pray for the ongoing battles of first responders. We rebuke the demonic forces. Woe to the intentional arson, looting, and other crimes causing fear, devastation, smoke, chaos, and death to the innocent. We pray for the protection of all in harm’s way.

Introduction

The following questions will be answered:

  • Remember the Comet of the Century and where is it now?

  • Do you remember the wandering stars in Jude 13?

  • What does “woe” mean?

The Comet of the Century

A review of the “Comet of the Century” from this September 2024 article.

The Comet of the Century is in Aquila the Eagle

The Forbes article below implies one can see the comet again with the naked eye. But actually, it is only visible online.

(source: Forbes)1

The article does mention something interesting. The comet is currently in Aquila the eagle. This reminded me of Revelation 8,

13 Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, “Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!”

Revelation 8:13, ESV

Stellarium shows that comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is in the heart of Aquila the Eagle. Here is a sign currently in the heavens. It combines two signs written about in 2024: Aquila the Eagle and the Comet of the Century. The comet’s position is in the red crosshairs, but too far to see without a telescope.

Aquila has star names that tell a story of its struggles. It has been battling for some time in the heavens.

The star names imply a wounded eagle:

  • Altair denotes “The Wounding”

  • Tarared denotes “Wounded, Torn”

  • Al Okal denotes “Wounded in the Heel”

The names imply that Aquila is wounded through battling the serpent of old, the Dragon—the struggle between the Great Eagle and the serpent of old, Satan. Aquila is a decan constellation of Capricorn, and together, they are interpreted as “Life Out of Death—Christ the Sacrifice.”2

For more on the Great Eagle here is an article from June 2024.

What are the Wandering Stars?

Another article details the timeline of the events from 2017 to 2024. In this analysis, in the summer of 2024, a series of comets appeared, wandering stars.

Jude writes,

wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever.

Jude 13, ESV

Today, as we step back and analyze the fires, it seems the “wild unseasonable wind” off the West Coast of California has changed direction revealing the evil actions of the Beasts and Dragon to destroy God’s creation (Revelation 13).

But what are the “wandering stars”? Wandering (Greek: planētēs) is used only once in the Bible. Some believe planētēs is the origin of planets. However, watching the video “The Comet of the Century” (see above), one understands how a comet wanders through the constellations and does not travel with the sun, moon, and planets on the ecliptic.

“Woe, Woe, Woe”

In Revelation 8:13, the eagle cries,

Woe, woe, woe (Greek: ŏuai, Strong’s Concordance #3759) to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!” Revelation 8:13, ESV

3759. οὐαί ŏuai, oo-ah´ee; a prim. exclamation of grief: “woe”:—alas, woe.3

(source: Logos Software, ESV, Interlinear)

In GotQuestions, “Woe” is defined,

Woe means “grief, anguish, affliction, wretchedness, calamity, or trouble.” The Dictionary of Bible Themes categorizes the uses of the word woe in the Bible: “Woe as an exclamation of judgment on others,” “Woe as an exclamation of misfortune on oneself,” “Woe as an exclamation of sadness over others,” and “Woe may give way to forgiveness, comfort, and deliverance” (Manser, M., ed., Zondervan, 1999).4

Dr. John MacArthur explains further,

Dr. John MacArthur examines Jesus’ use of woe in the Bible: “In His castigation of the false Jewish leaders, Jesus repeatedly used two words, woe, and hypocrites” (emphasis is the author’s). MacArthur goes on to say, “But Jesus used Woe against the scribes and Pharisees not as an exclamation but as a declaration, a divine pronouncement of judgment from God. . . . As was already noted, it was not His desire that they be condemned but rather that they repent and come to salvation. But He knew that if they did not repent and believe they were doomed to hell under God’s righteous and just wrath. When God utters Woe against evil men He sets divine judgment in motion” (The MacArthur New Testament Commentary: Matthew 16—23, ch. 35, Moody Publishers, 1988, p. 375).

In Closing

  • Remember the Comet of the Century and where is it now?

    • C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is in the heart of Aquila the eagle.

    • Eagles are referred to many times throughout the Bible including Revelation 8:13, which describes an eagle crying “Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth”

  • Do you remember the wandering stars in Jude 13?

    • The Comet of the Century wanders through the constellations, unlike the predictable movements of the sun, moon, and planets.

    • This comet will not appear again for several thousand years.

  • What does “woe” mean?

    • Woe describes what we see escalating on Earth (i.e.: grief, anguish, affliction, wretchedness, calamity, or trouble).

    • Woe is directed against evil men.

    • Woe leads to God’s divine judgment.

    • It is not God’s desire to condemn, but for men to turn away from their evil ways, and repent.

My family is currently editing this third book, and we’ve gone through several iterations (specifically Draft version 6). The cover incorporates a solar eclipse map overlayed with the April 8th, 2024 eclipse between the constellations Cetus, the Sea Monster, and Pisces, the Fish. The 3rd solar eclipse falls right on the rope between these two constellations in the area of the heavens called the ocean or celestial sea. The cover's color palette uses shades of “ocean blues”.

God Bless, this is the perseverance of the saints.
